BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Turkish ports handled 192,250 vehicles in March 2022, Trend reports citing the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
In the reporting month, Ro-Ro ships delivered 81,074 vehicles to Turkish ports, while 111,176 cars were transshipped from the ports of Turkey.
The ports of Turkey handled 744,250 vehicles from January through April 2022, the ministry noted.
Ro-Ro ships delivered 287,189 vehicles to Turkish ports, Meanwhile, local ports sent 457,776 vehicles during this period.
The ports of Turkey handled 2.09 million cars, whereas Ro-Ro ships delivered 790,274 vehicles to Turkish ports in 2021.
Totally, over 1.3 million vehicles were sent from Turkish ports by Ro-Ro ships last year.
