Afghanistan, Kabul, 1 December / Trend corr. A.Hakimi/ Iran is accelerating the expulsion of Afghan workers via Abrishim bridge.
Recently, 8,850 Afghan youth and 35 families through Abrishim Bridge in Nimroz province.
More than 1,000 people are deported from the Iranian territories a day, Amanullah Atif, Director of Returnees of Nimroz province, said.
Juma Gul 25, a resident of Jawzja province said that they were 50 youth from Faryab and Jawzjan, who left for Mashhad city of Iran from Nimroz three days ago, where they were captured by police pushed out by Iranian police.
Abdul Qadir Ahadi, Deputy Minister of Refugees and Returnees said that due to lack of work opportunities, high prices and security problems the number of youth in search of work to Iran and Pakistan has increased.
Deputy Minister of Labor Social Affairs confirmed Ahadi's statements and said that they do not have statistics of these people.
A total of 40 % of all the 8 million available work force in the country are jobless, he said.
More than 5,000 youths have been deported from Iran within three days, while most of them have legal refugee card with themselves, Saliha Merzad, MP of Nimroze province said.
The MP named action of the Iranian authorities as a political pressure on the Afghan government.
Meanwhile, the Iranian authorities promised to Afghan people and international community not to expel refugees in a cold season.
