The Union of Azerbaijani Students and Researchers diaspora organization has launched in Germany.
The organization aims is to unite Azerbaijani youth living and studying in Germany, establish friendly ties among them and implement joint projects, the State Committee for the Diaspora said.
The organization plans to hold academic conferences and events to inform the German public about Azerbaijani culture and traditions, and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict - Azerbaijan's greatest problem.
The union has branches in several German cities.
The head of the organization is Samir Abbasov, a student at Freiberg Technical University.
