Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend E. Huseynli / Mahmoud Karimov has been re-elected the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in a meeting of the Presidium. Speakers at the gathering noted that Karimov enjoyed authority amongst the scientists and has contributed a great service in the development of the ANAS.
The meeting adopted an annual report by Karimov and work by the Presidium was estimated as satisfactory.
