BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 22. Projected expenditures on education in Azerbaijan in 2024 are announced, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance said, Trend reports.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Finance prepared a document titled "Preliminary indicators of the state and consolidated budgets for 2024".
The document notes that 4.5 billion manat, which is $2.6 billion (a specific weight of 12.5 percent), will be allocated from the 2024 state budget for the implementation of 10 programs covering 102 activities in the field of education.
It should be noted that the state budget expenditures for 2024 are projected at 36.3 billion manat, which is $21.3 billion (30.7 percent of GDP).
