ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 18. Thailand and Kazakhstan held discussions on potential investment projects for the construction of industrial facilities in the green and renewable energy sectors, Trend reports.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the meeting was held between Arman Isetov, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Thailand, and Nusrat Alikhan, Chairman of the Board of the Thai holding company Tri Star Development.
The Thai delegation received detailed information on Kazakhstan's state support mechanisms for green technology projects, the process for participating in the auction system, and the country’s plans to expand renewable energy production.
Both parties expressed mutual interest in Tri Star Development's investment projects in Kazakhstan and agreed to continue collaborating in this area. It is worth noting that Kazakhstan is Thailand’s largest partner in Central Asia.
