ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 13. The subsidiary
of KazMunayGas, KazTransOil, paid more than 41 billion tenge
(approximately $78.47 million) in taxes to the budget in 2024,

"The total amount of taxes and other mandatory payments to the
budget by JSC KazTransOil in 2024 amounted to 41.3 billion tenge
(approximately $78.47 million), which is 3 percent higher than the
2023 level," the company said.
According to KazMunayGas, the largest contributions from
KazTransOil to the national budget were corporate income tax
(approximately $21.09 million), value-added tax (approximately
$9.88 million), and local budgets received payments including
property tax (approximately $19.19 million), individual income tax
(approximately $15.39 million), and social tax (approximately
$12.35 million).
To note, since 2019, tax authorities have classified taxpayer
activities into three categories: low, medium, and high risk. Based
on this classification, differentiated tax administration measures
are applied. KazTransOil is assigned a low-risk category, which is
one of the indicators of the company's reliability.
