ASTANA, Kazakhstan, February 14. Samruk-Kazyna and Tengizchevroil have signed key agreements for the long-term supply of gas, strengthening Kazakhstan's energy security, Trend reports via Samruk-Kazyna.
Chairman of Samruk-Kazyna, Nurlan Zhakupov, held a meeting with the CEO of Tengizchevroil, Kevin Lyon. During the meeting, two important documents were signed: a long-term gas purchase and sale agreement between QazaqGaz and Tengizchevroil; and a memorandum on ensuring stable supplies of liquefied petroleum gas to the domestic market between the Ministry of Energy and TCO.
To note, the agreement between the Samruk-Kazyna portfolio company and Tengizchevroil will help expand Kazakhstan's gas resource base and ensure reliable supplies for the long term.
