BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 24. The total insurance premium collections of insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 163.7 million manat ($96.3 million) in January 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) shows that this figure grew by 17.6 percent or 24.5 million manat ($14.4 million) compared to the same month in 2024 (139.1 million manat or $81.8 million).
Furthermore, in the reporting month, the ranking on the volume of insurance premium collections was headed by PASHA Insurance OJSC with 69 million manat ($40.59 million).
The second position in the ranking was occupied by PASHA Life Insurance OJSC with total premium collections amounting to 50.3 million manat ($29.59 million), and the third position was occupied by Ateshgah Life Insurance (eight million manat or $4.7 million).
