ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 11. During his working visit to Shymkent, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev toured the modern Almaar Logistics trade and logistics center, located near the strategically important transport corridor linking Western Europe and Western China, Trend reports.
According to the press service of the President of Kazakhstan, the construction of the multifunctional warehouse complex, covering 24,000 square meters, was funded with 14.8 billion tenge (approximately 29.6 million) in private investments.
"The facility is equipped with advanced storage technologies, including a system that enables the quick redistribution of perishable goods, minimizing their prolonged storage," the statement added.
President Tokayev is currently on a working visit to Shymkent, where he plans to explore the city’s socio-economic development.
