ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 26. As part of the ongoing XII Forum of Kazakhstan's Machine Builders in Astana, Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO, 20 percent owned by KazMunayGas JSC) has signed contracts with three domestic companies for the supply of equipment worth over $10.5 million, Trend reports.
“The products being procured from AtyrauNefteMash LLP, Sewon-Vertex Heavy Industry, and Honeywell Automation Controls System will be used in the major overhaul of the Second-Generation Plant in 2026, as well as in ongoing operations at the Tengiz oil field to ensure safe and reliable production,” the company reported.
Increasing the share of local content and localizing production to develop the domestic industrial cluster is a strategic priority for KazMunayGas JSC, one of the leading shareholders of TCO.
The signing of new contracts will further contribute to the increase of domestic value, especially in terms of supply from local companies.
Since 1993, TCO has procured goods and services from Kazakhstani suppliers amounting to about $50.5 billion.
