ASTANA, Kazakhstan, May 17. Tengizchevroil (TCO) has summarized its performance for the first quarter of 2025, highlighting successful achievements in environmental protection and sustainable development, Trend reports via the latest report from Tengizchevroil.
According to the information, the gas utilization rate for TCO from January through March 2025 was 99.3 percent, which indicates the company's high level of environmental responsibility.
In addition, the overall water reuse rate at the company in the first quarter of 2025 was 50 percent. TCO continues to actively work on water conservation, including through the treatment of domestic wastewater and the recycling of water for further use in industrial processes.
The company also reports a high level of waste recycling: by the end of the first quarter of 2025, 77 percent of more than 35 types of waste had been recycled, which TCO sends for processing.
These figures demonstrate the company’s commitment to the principles of sustainable development and environmental protection, as well as its efforts to minimize its negative environmental impact.
