Information extracted from the Central Bank of Turkmenistan
indicates that Ashgabat comprised a total of 22,468 users, while
the Lebap region recorded 23,483 users, and the Mary region
documented 21,452 users. Additional territories encompass Balkan
with a user base of 16,439, Dashoguz with 6,803, Akhal with 2,571,
and Arkadag with a total of 64 users.
In a comparative analysis, digital banking platforms exhibit a
superior user registration metric within the identical geographical
domains, with Mary and Ashgabat spearheading the statistics at
upwards of 270,000 registered users each, while Lebap trails
closely with a user base of 264,445.
The Central Bank of Turkmenistan, established in 1991, remains
pivotal in the regulatory landscape, ensuring robust oversight of
the financial ecosystem while catalyzing the evolution of digital
