Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 12/ Trend , I.Alizade/ Azerbaijan hava yollari (Azerbaijani Airlines) national company will fully refuse from use of planes of the Russian and former USSR production within next three years, Arif Mammadov, the head of the Azerbaijani civil aviation administration, said on Dec. 12.
"Azerbaijan will get eight new planes of Boeing brand within next three years. After it, AZAL will refuse from the Soviet engineering," Mammadov said.
At present the national airline company is using two or three planes of the Russian and former USSR production. They are allowed to fly only after passing full technical examination. Plane stock of the national airline company has been upgraded by 90%.
