The World Bank has allocated $2.039 billion to finance projects in Azerbaijan.
A total of $1.8 billion has yet to be distributed, the WB said.
The WB's active bank portfolio in Azerbaijan totals $2.039 billion in 26 projects financed through the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and International Association of Development.
Azerbaijan became a WB member after the bank launched a cooperation program with the government in 1992. The WB has financed 45 projects worth $2.5 billion.
