To date, some 18,000 taxpayers have passed certification in Azerbaijan, Deputy Taxes Minister Shakhir Mammadkhanov told journalists.
"The figure is more than 10,000 taxpayers in Baku and 7,000-8,000 in the regions. The relevant work is carried out in Baku on Saturdays and in the regions within a week or on Saturday in accordance with the work schedule," he said. .
Based on the data, obtained from taxpayers, this work does not create problems to them. In addition, all taxpayers are provided with information in the form of thesis. However, this process is expected to identify objects that do not have embarked on account of the tax authorities.
From Feb. 1, the Azerbaijani Taxes Ministry launched the process of certification of taxpayers in an attempt to clarify the database and inventory of taxpayers and businesses. Activities will be conducted by the Ministry's employees throughout the Republic through individual observation, oral questioning. The information received from taxpayers will also be involved. These data will be inserted in form of certification of the taxpayers. Based on certification, the data will be generalized with the local tax authorities and inserted in AVIS automated system, and then the process of inventory of data will begin.
