The Georgian airlines Airzena will resume direct charter flights to Egypt from March 3, which were suspended due to the recent unrest in the country. As the airline's spokesperson. Nino Giorgobiani, said, Airzena carried out its last charter flight to Egypt on Feb. 7 when it delivered a group of Georgian tourists home from Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.
Airzena will carry out direct flights to the resort city of Taba on Thursday.
Anti-government and anti-presidential protests grew into riots in Egypt on Jan. 25, and caused chaos in the country. Hosni Mubarak, who ruled Egypt for 30 years, in mid-February, resigned from his post as the head of state after 18 days of people's unrest.
