The Azerbaijani State Standardization, Metrology and Patents Committee held a Technical Committee meeting devoted to food standards, the committee said.
Representatives of state structures and leading food enterprises attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the technical committee's action plan for 2011 and reviewed a number of projects on the national standards provided by the committee.
Following the discussions, the meeting adopted the technical committee's action plan for 2011.
The meeting decided to submit to the Health Ministry amendments to the standards for syrup and cow's milk.
The meeting decided to submit to the State Standardization, Metrology and Patents Committee amendments to the standards on dairy and milk products, terms and concepts and food and cheese products
