Assets of Azerbaijani insurer Qarant Sigorta up by nearly 17 percent

Assets of Azerbaijani insurance company Qarant Sigorta based on performance in 2012 amounted to 12.67 million manat compared to 10.88 million manat at the beginning of the year. This is an increase of 16.45 percent, according to the company's balance sheet published in the official press.

The company's financial statements were audited by Kaspian Konsaltinq JSC.
Long-term assets of the company at the end of 2012 amounted to 2.07 million manat, short-term assets - 10.6 million manat.

In 2012, the company accumulated 4.64 million manat in cash and cash equivalents, including deposit accounts of 0.59 million manat and 3.95 million manat on current accounts.
The paid-up share capital of Qarant Sigorta stood at four million manat up to 2012 and remained unchanged in comparison with 2011.

The company's aggregate capital by the end of last year amounted to 4.19 million manat, or 36 percent more than in 2011.

The aggregate liabilities of the company amounted to 8.48 million manat, and capital and liabilities as a whole - 12.67 million manat, or 16.45 percent more compared to 10.88 million at the beginning of the year.

The company's revenues last year amounted to 10.26 million manat, expenses - 9.15 million manat. The company completed 2012 with a net profit of 1.07 million manat.

The Qarant Sigorta Insurance Company received the license for insurance activity of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan in November 2007. Qarant Sigorta is part of the ZQAN Holding.
