Azerbaijan is likely to work out the register of insurance agents.
This issue is being discussed within the Azerbaijan Insurers Association, the association head Orkhan Bayramov said on March 18.
"Currently, about 800 agents work in Azerbaijan. Currently the possibility of creating such a list is under discussion. It is also possible to introduce the categories such as a "good" and a "bad" agent and subsequently to publish the register on the Internet in open access so that clients are able to receive up to date information about the quality of services provided by agents and avoid resorting to unscrupulous insurers," Bayramov said.
Baku will host the traditional National Forum of Insurance Agents in December, according to the association head.
"It was decided to expand the format of the event this year, as the demand for insurance products also increases. It is planned to involve international experts from Turkey as well to participation at the event," Bayramov added.
