Bryansk Machine-Building Plant, which is part of Russia’s Transmashholding company, is ready to cooperate on any projects related to the supply of mainline cargo and shunting locomotives, training on design features and operation of equipment produced by the plant with Turkmenistan, Alexey Balanov, chief specialist of the directorate for external relations and corporate communications of Transmashholding, told Trend.
"For the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant, Turkmenistan is a new market with new opportunities. So far, cooperation has been limited to individual deliveries to private companies, " Balanov said, adding that it is very important for the company and Transmashholding to expand cooperation with Turkmenistan and to develop new joint projects.
Currently, implemented projects for cooperation with customers from Turkmenistan concerned the supply of locomotives and spare parts for them.
"The locomotives of the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant have proven their competitiveness in the Russian and foreign markets thanks to the use of proven technical solutions and innovations, reliability, economy, ease of operation and maintenance," he added.
In general, the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant currently specializes in the production of mainline freight and shunting locomotives, and also produces components for metro escalators and spare parts for railway transport.
