A total of 51,922 passenger cars were manufactured in Kazakhstan over the first ten months of 2020, which is 51.5 percent more than during the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
In turn, passenger car production in Oct. alone amounted to 9,424 cars, which also is 2.1 times more than in Oct. 2019.
The number of cargo vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan during the reporting period stood at 6,299 vehicles (1,026 in Oct.), of specialized vehicles at 284 units (72 in Oct.).
Furthermore, the number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured in Oct. 2020 amounted to 494, which is 5 times more than during Oct. 2019. The number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured over the reporting period stood at 1,766 vehicles, which is 2.3 times more than during the same period of last year.
In turn, spare parts for vehicle output amounted to 58,249 during ten months of 2020 and 2,300 in Oct. 2020, which is 12.6 percent and 68 percent less respectively than during the same period of 2019.
Some 22 diesel locomotives were also manufactured in Kazakhstan over ten months of 2020 (3 in Oct.), and 473 cargo wagons (7 in Oct.).
