Iran's 70-million populations consumes energy of 1.2 billion people and this issue must be considered, Mehr news agency quoted Iranian parliament's Special Economic Changes Commission chairman Kazim Delkhosh as saying.
"Iran has population of 70 million, but the country consumes the energy which can meet demand of 1.2 billion people. We should change our method of energy consumption," Delkhosh said.
The production potential must be increased and export must be carried out in a right way and energy resources must be used in an appropriate way.
