Just to remind you, the resolution "Reliable and stabile transit of energy resources and its role in steady development and international cooperation ensuring" was discussed and adopted at the regular meeting of UN General Assembly with complete consensus of 192 world countries in December 2008.
From one side, increasing demand for energy resources world-wide discovered new opportunities for countries producing hydrocarbon to increase output and oil and gas supply. From other side, demand stimulated development and realization of large scale projects on production and transportation of energy resources. There is necessity in introduction of the most advanced technologies and methods of management, the organizers said. "Development of general regulations in energy market and adherence of countries to fulfill these rules will create favorable climate to ensure energy security in this situation. These rules will also promote long-expected goals for steady social-economic development in all world countries and regions."
UN can be political-legal guarantee for construction of trans continental gas fields, safe and unhampered transit of stuff via main line inter-state pipelines by designing appropriate mechanism.
As it is known, Turkmenistan enters the number of the biggest energy suppliers on the world markets. As a result of audit conducted by Gaffney, Cline & Associates company in South Iolotan-Osman gas field, this field entered five biggest gas fields in the world.
