An Iranian oil delegation led by Oil Minister Gholam Hussein Nozari will travel to Germany early May for gas talks, Iranian ISNA agency reported.
Iran's National Oil Company Managing Director Seifollah Jashnsaz told ISNA Wednesday that the meeting seeks energy cooperation particularly regarding natural gas export and Nabucco project.
Definitely one of the topics that is discussable during the trip is Gas transportation to Germany through Nabucco, he noted.
Meanwhile, Jashnsaz said Iran and a British energy company have also held talks on exports of Iran's gas to Europe and Nabucco project Tuesday.
Asked about the US officials remarks over Iran's presence in Nabucco he said Tehran announced from the beginning that the countries involved in the project are not able to supply the demand of the market and "without Iran Nabucco is a political project."
