The concept of the Kashagan Field's second phase of development will be ready by late 2011, Kazakh Oil and Gas Minister Sauat Mynbayev said on Wednesday.
"It is too early to speak about the budget, as the second phase's concept will be submitted by the consortium by late 2011. When it happens, then we will consider and speak about the budget," Mynbayev said.
Kashagan is a supergiant oil and gas field in Kazakhstan located in
the north of the Caspian Sea.
The field's development is conducted in complex geological conditions.
