BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 5. The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG consortium has publicly disclosed gas flow nominations for its interconnections during the maintenance period of the Southern Gas Corridor, Trend reports.

Kipoi interconnection in Greece is scheduled to receive 124,954,158 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of gas on August 5. No nominations are planned for the remaining interconnections during this period.

The planned maintenance activities on the natural gas transmission system along the Southern Gas Corridor, scheduled for August 5-9, 2024, will occur on a section upstream of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline and not on the pipeline itself.

"As a result of the above planned maintenance activities, although both TAP’s Transportation System and its capacity will remain fully available, gas flows entering TAP at Interconnection Point (IP) Kipoi are likely to be reduced and therefore the utilisation of TAP’s products at all IPs (Komotini, Nea Mesimvria and Melendugno) may be affected," the consortium earlier told Trend.

TAP AG noted that the adjacent Transmission System Operators (TSOs) of TAP have been informed and TAP has published an Urgent Market Message to inform the market, according to the relevant European framework.

"We expect normal services to resume once these planned maintenance activities are completed," said the consortium.
