BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 20. Solar power plants in Azerbaijani raised electricity production in January 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that this figure amounted to 16 million kWh, up 13.1 million kWh (5.5 times) compared to the same month in 2024.
To note, the production of electricity, gas, and steam, along with distribution and supply services in the country, reached a value of 342.9 million manat ($201.7 million) in January 2025.
Meanwhile, the production value in the water supply, waste treatment, and processing sector amounted to 45.8 million manat ($26.9 million) during the same period.
