During the 9 geologic and 55 technical works taken in January the H.Z.Tagiyev OGPU of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) produced by 354.6 tons oil more than forecasted figure.
The H.Z.Tagiyev OGPU held overhaul repair of 12 wells and underground repair of 55 wells in January 2006 that allowed producing 238.2 tons of oil, SOCAR told Trend.
Two wells were returned from the fund of idle wells to exploitation that allowed producing 141 tons of oil from them. During this work H.Z.Tagiyev OGPU produced 5.2% oil more than forecasted figure (5,200 tons). There is also growth in the gas production. In January H.Z.Tagiyev OGPU produced 810,000 cu m of gas, or 1.3% more than forecasted figure.
In February OGPU plans to commission a well from the fund of idle wells. At present the fund of idle wells of H.Z.Tagiyev OGPU is equal to 188 wells, the producing fund of wells - 159, the operating fund of wells - 348.
