The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Gum Adasi Drilling Unit of SOCAR is now continuing drilling work on the Bahar field, Trend reports.
The work in the well was temporarily stopped in connection with an incident. At present drilling is carried out at a depth of 4,230 m. The project depth of the well is 5,000 m and the drilling will be complete in April 2007.
The well is expected to produce 50 tons of condensate and 400,000 cu.m of gas per day.
