BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 4. The amount of credit insurance collections in Azerbaijan grew 2.67 times year-on-year from January through July 2023, Trend reports.
The Central Bank of Azerbaijan said the collections in this segment amounted to 1 million manat ($588,235) from January through July 2023 against 467,880 manat ($275,223) in the same period of 2022.
Insurance payments in the reporting period amounted to 470 manat, which is $276 (no insurance payments were made last year).
Also, in the reporting period, insurance companies in Azerbaijan collected insurance premiums of over 761 million manat ($447 million), and payments amounted to 282 million manat ($165 million).
