Kazakhstan, Astana, Dec.12 / Trend , corr. K.Konirova /The number of internet users in Kazakhstan will reach 2.3mln people or 14.8% of the population to the end of the year, the independent ICT-Marketing company reported.
"In accordance with poll, the number of internet users totaled 2.2mln people in Kazakhstan in Oct. So, the number of internet users has increased by 16% since Oct 2007 to Oct 2008.
In the course of time the access into the World wide web becomes ever more family service. Increases both the fraction of people, which prefer to use Internet at homes, and members of families, which use this service.
Thus, in October, on the average in one family, which lives in the city with the population of 70,000 people and more than men and having connection to the world network, Internet- service is used by two people of a family. While in Oct 2007, this index composed 1.8 people (but in Dec 2006 - 1.6 people).
