The Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technology (IT) Ministry's revenues increased 7.4 percent in Jan-March compared to the same period in 2008, the ministry said on April 22.
The IT Ministry's total income was roughly 52 million manat.
In this period, revenues of Aztelekom PU totaled 24.4 million manat, Baktelekom PU- 10.4 million manat, Teleradio PU - 1.8 million manar and Azerpocht - 4 million manat.
In 2008, the governmental income from the Azerbaijani communication and IT field reached 195.2 million manat, while this figure was 158.2 million in 2007.
