The number of Internet subscribers in Georgia has reached 958,000, Trend reports with reference to the Georgian National Communications Commission.
According to the statistics, as of June 2021, MagtiCom ranks first in the fixed broadband market with 473,000 subscribers nationwide. The second place is occupied by Silknet with 290,000 subscribers, the third - 47 Skytel with 47,000 subscribers.
According to financial results, MagtiCom is in first place with revenue of 67.5 million lari in the first six months of 2021, while Silknet's revenue amounted to 49.6 million lari. In more detail, the company figures are distributed as follows:
MagtiCom - 67.49 ($21.7 million);
Silknet - 49.55 million lari ($15.9 million);
Skytel - 8.80 million lari ($2.8 million);
According to the number of subscribers, the statistics of the top 3 players include:
MagtiCom - 473,206 subscribers;
Silknet - 290,584 subscribers;
Skytel - 47,038 subscribers.
