BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 5. Kazakhstan's Shymkent Oil Refinery's petroleum product stocks stand at 22,000 tons of gasoline, 30,800 tons of diesel fuel, 5,800 tons of jet kerosene, and 11,600 tons of fuel oil, KazMunayGas (KMG) national oil company told Trend.

Currently, the refinery is successfully dispatching 3,500 to 5,000 tons of gasoline per day, 2,500 tons of diesel fuel per day, 1,000 tons of aviation fuel per day, and up to 600 tons of liquefied gas per day. The primary oil processing unit and the complex deep oil processing unit are operating at a combined capacity of 10,500 tons per day.

Furthermore, it was also noted that considering the existing gasoline reserves of 22,000 tons and the ongoing daily production of 2,000-2,500 tons, the refinery will be able to ship 4,000-4,500 tons of gasoline per day during the planned 11-day overhaul period. Therefore the refinery is almost maintaining the same level of gasoline shipments and operating close to normal capacity (around 5,000 tons).

Meanwhile, the Shymkent Oil Refinery partly suspended its operations from July 3 to 14, 2023 in order to conduct the catalyst regeneration process and launch the catalytic reforming unit.
