BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. Kyrgyzstan shared data on the country's flour production volume from January through March 2022, Trend reports via National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the committee, the total volume of Kyrgyzstan's flour production in the first quarter of 2022 amounted to 53,000 tons.
The largest amount of flour was produced in the capital city Bishkek - 19,800 tons, followed by Chuy Region with the total amount of 13,600 tons.
The average consumer price for premium wheat flour in Kyrgyzstan in March 2022 amounted to 56.7 soums ($0.7) per 1 kilogram, which is an increase of 67.7 percent compared to the same month of 2021 (33.8 soums or $0.4).
Meanwhile, the average consumer price for premium wheat flour throughout the country from January through March 2022 was 54.1 soums ($0.7).
