BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. The inflation rate in Tajikistan amounted to 3.9 percent from January through May 2022, Trend reports with the reference to Avesta.Tj.
The prices for the following food products increased the most:
- cabbage by 31 percent;
- onion up by 29.8 percent;
- carrot by 22.3 percent;
- first grade flour - 20.2 percent;
- buckwheat by 13.9 percent;
- pasta by 12.7 percent.
According to statistics, in the first 5 months of 2022, food prices in Tajikistan increased by 6.6 percent, compared to the same period in 2021.
