DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, January 8. Georgia reexported 1,360 cars to Tajikistan from January through November 2024, which is 42.5 percent less than the 2,366 cars in the same period of 2023, Trend reports.
According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat), the value of the reexport amounted to $22.035 million, declining by 19.8 percent compared to the figures for January through November 2023 ($27.487 million).
Meanwhile, trade turnover between Georgia and Tajikistan amounted to $31.419 million from January through November 2024, which is a decrease of 9.4 percent compared to the same period in 2023 ($34.698 million).
Georgia's exports to Tajikistan totaled $31.082 million during the reported months, which is a 9.7 percent decline from $34.430 million recorded in January–November 2023. Georgian reexports to Tajikistan amounted to $26.134 million in the reporting period, declining by 11.9 percent compared to January-November 2023 ($29.664 million).
This year, Georgia imported products from Tajikistan in the following months: January, February, March, May, and October. The total import value amounted to $336,110, which is 25 percent higher than by the end of November 2023 ($268,630).
