BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 10. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Berdyniyaz Myatiev held a meeting with the Charge d'affaires of the State of Qatar Mohammed Meskhel Al-Otaibi, Trend reports citing the Turkmen Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the diplomats discussed topical issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation, as well as issues of expanding cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres.
Furthermore, the sides noted the importance of contacts at high and top levels in the development of interstate relations. In this regard, they discussed the possibility of the visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Qatar.
Following the meeting, the parties stressed the need to further improve the contractual and legal framework of bilateral cooperation.
