TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 11. Sustainable Fitch, the ESG-focused division of Fitch Ratings, has assigned an ESG rating of Level “3” with a final score of 55 points to Uzbekistan's Navoiyuran State Enterprise, Trend reports.
According to the enterprise, the rating reflects Navoiyuran’s strong commitment to responsible governance, sustainable development, and transparency. In its report, Sustainable Fitch highlighted the phased and consistent implementation of Navoiyuran’s sustainable development strategy, as well as its strict adherence to both national and international standards.
The company's environmental policy received particular recognition, especially for its transparent reporting of key performance indicators and its record of no environmental incidents in recent years. Navoiyuran’s management of radioactive waste fully complies with the Law of Uzbekistan on Radiation Safety and is overseen by the Ministry of Health.
In the social sphere, the agency praised the company’s internal policies, openness of information, and the absence of any reported social incidents, underscoring its commitment to safe and equitable working conditions for employees.
Regarding corporate governance, the report emphasized Navoiyuran’s compliance with national and international standards, including the separation of powers between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board and the General Director, which supports a balanced and accountable management structure.
This ESG rating confirms Navoiyuran’s position as a reliable and sustainably developing enterprise, playing a significant role in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals in the context of the New Uzbekistan.
