About $32.84 billion of Iran's total $35.74 billion worth of non-oil exports (excluding condensates) accounted to Asian countries during the last Iranian fiscal year (ended on March 20), indicating an increase of 13 percent year on year.
The figure accounts for 91.9 percent of the country's total non-oil exports.
Iran exported some 73.95 million metric tons of non-oil goods to Asian countries during that period which is 5.56 percent less compared the preceding year in term of volume, said Iranian Customs Administration in its annual report.
Meanwhile Iran's exports to Europe registered a 33.24 percent increase in terms of value and stood at $1.921 billion during the period. European markets shared 5.4 percent of Tehran's total non-oil exports' value during the last fiscal year.
Iran's exports to Africa and America stood at $816 million and $137 million respectively, 7.6 percent and 16.3 percent less compared to the preceding year (March 21, 2013 - March 20, 2014).
The Islamic Republic exported $27 million worth of goods to Oceania in the 12-month period, 67.7 percent more year on year.
China was the main market of Iranian goods in Asia with $9.16 billion worth of imported goods, meanwhile Italian markets were the main European target of Iran's non-oil exports ($618 million).
Egypt was top African importer of Iranian goods in the 12-month period with $578 million worth of imports.
Brazil ($77 million) and Australia ($25 million) were also the top markets of Iran's exported goods in America and Oceania respectively.
The Islamic Republic's non-oil exports (excluding condensates) stood at $35.74 billion, while imports accounted for $52.477 billion.
Iran's overall non-oil trade turn over including condensates stood at $102.22 billion during the period.
