BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 3. A total of 36,300 tons of hydrocarbon products will be sold by Iran's Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on February 3, Trend reports.
Out of the mentioned volume, 18,300 tons will be up for grabs on the home turf of the energy exchange.
The following goods are to be offered on the Iran Energy Exchange's domestic ring:
- Zagros Petrochemical Company's 2,900 tons of methanol;
- Shiraz Oil Refining Company's 2,000 of light naphtha;
- Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company's (BIPC) 1,010 tons of MTBE (methyl tertiary-butyl ether);
- Kaveh Methanol Company's 900 tons of methanol;
- Fanavaran Petrochemical Company's 720 tons of methanol;
- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 700 tons of MTBE (methyl tertiary-butyl ether);
- Arta Energy Company's 650 tons of methanol;
- Bushehr Petrochemical Company's 500 tons of methanol;
- Jam Petrochemical Company's 250 tons of heavy distillate;
-Middle East Kimia Pars Petrochemical Company’s 200 tons of methanol;
- Setareh Pooya Caspian Company's (PAYA SARVE CASPIAN Co.) 110 tons of pentane;
- Tabriz Petrochemical Company’s 100 tons of heavy distillate, 100 tons of fuel oil, 42 tons of liquid nitrogen;
Furthermore, 18,000 tons of products will be on sale on the Iran Energy Exchange's export ring:
- Persian Gulf Star Oil Company’s 6,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 5,000 tons of butane;
- Shimibaft Petrochemical Company’s 5,000 tons of raffinate 2, 2,000 tons of MTBE (methyl tertiary-butyl ether);
The Iran Energy Exchange's hydrocarbon sales are vital to the economy. Iran plans to boost exports while providing domestic industries with hydrocarbon products via energy exchange.
IRENEX sells its products at the SANA exchange rate. For the currency exchange offices in Iran, the SANA system is a system that was introduced by the Central Bank of Iran.
The sale of hydrocarbons on IRENEX is vital to the country's economy. Through energy exchange, Iran seeks to boost exports and provide hydrocarbon products to local businesses.
