Iranian FM to visit Turkey after Oman (UPDATE)

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has today left for Oman, the FARS news agency reported.

During his one-day visit, Salehi will discuss with Omani officials the processes ongoing in the region and development of the bilateral relations.

Earlier on Monday, Salehi paid a one-day visit to Qatar.

The IRNA state news agency reported that following his Oman visit, Salehi will leave for Turkey. He is to discuss bilateral relations with Turkish officials and the ongoing processes in the region.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is expected to visit Turkey on May 9.
