The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) exported 2.28 million metric tons of oil from Georgia's Supsa port in Jan.-Sept. 2014, compared to 2.08 million metric tons in the same period of 2013.
SOCAR exported 253,830 metric tons of oil from the Supsa port in September, compared to 242,220 metric tons in the same month of 2013, a message from the company said on Oct.2.
In total, around 2.73 million metric tons of oil was exported by SOCAR from this port in 2013, compared to 2.74 million metric tons in 2012.
Oil is delivered to the Supsa port through the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.
Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) is the operator of the Baku-Supsa pipeline.
