BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the allocation of 4.7 million manat ($2.8 million) for the construction of the Boyukshor-Pirsagi road, Trend reports.
In general, in order to reduce the density of traffic flow in Baku, 4.7 million manat ($2.8 million) were initially allocated to the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads from the reserve fund of the President of Azerbaijan envisaged in the state budget for 2023 for the design and construction of the six–lane Boyukshor-Pirsagi highway with a length of 12.7 km.
The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan has been instructed to provide financing in the amount specified in this decree.
In addition, the Ministry of Economy has been instructed to provide in the section of expenditures on state investments of the draft state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2024 the financial resources necessary to complete the construction of the highway.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan has been instructed to resolve issues arising from this order.
