TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 14. The international Plus Forum has opened in Dushanbe, during which Uzbekistan’s HUMO and Tajikistan’s Korti Milli payment systems signed a strategic partnership agreement, Trend reports.

The memorandum formalizes the parties’ intention to integrate their payment infrastructures, enabling HUMO cardholders to use Korti Milli services in Tajikistan, and vice versa — Korti Milli cardholders to access HUMO services in Uzbekistan.

The document aims to foster long-term strategic cooperation between the two largest payment systems in the region and to expand service opportunities for clients in both countries.

The Plus Forum traditionally serves as a platform for professional dialogue and the exchange of experience in the financial and payment sectors.

This year, HUMO was represented by Alexey Golenishchev, who delivered a presentation on “Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience in the Banking and Payment Industry.” Participation in such international conferences helps the company strengthen its market position and enhance its business reputation within the global financial community.

Meanwhile, Tajikistan has emerged as a key regional partner for Uzbekistan, ranking among the country’s top 20 trade allies. In 2024, bilateral trade turnover reached $702.7 million, marking a significant increase and underscoring the growing dynamics of economic synergy and cross-border collaboration between the two nations.
