Azercell Telecom LLC, the leading mobile operator of Azerbaijan, has added another achievement to its records of success. This time, the Company has been awarded IIP - Investors in People International Standard Certificate. Azercell Telecom LLC is the second company among CIS countries to obtain Investors in People International Standard Certificate. In 2006, Azercell has obtained this standard by meeting all 12 requirements initiated for this Certificate.
Created in 1992 in the United Kingdom, IIP standard is used currently in over 30,000 companies and organizations and serves to develop the leadership skills of employees, increase their work satisfaction and generally, augment the business productivity of the Company. This standard represents also the experience which is necessary to raise awareness of the company's employees, pay more attention to their potential and increase their development.
This international standard has helped to create the platforms for sustainable development by involving employees into the strategic decision making process in Azercell Telecom LLC systems, measuring the rationale in making training investments, creating equal development opportunities for all employees and ensuring the implementation of changes in the development of leadership skills.
