Presently, the fourth monitoring of 2009 launched on birds' flu warning in Azerbaijan, Yolchu Khanvel press-secretary of the state veterinary service under the Ministry of Agriculture said.
"Monitoring launched in the Apsheron Peninsula and will last till May 1," Khanveli said.
Monitoring was held by special commission comprising of employees of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Agriculture and group of hunters.
Previous three monitoring did not reveal birds' flu in Azerbaijan.
Epizootic situation with birds' flu is estimated as stabile in Azerbaijan, Khanveli said. But monitoring will continue in the territory of the country by June.
