In accordance with the resolution of Uzbekistan’s Cabinet of Ministers dated February 19, 2019 “On priority measures to increase the efficiency of the activities of Uzbekneftegas”, UNG Petro LLC was established as a management company of a network of gas stations selling oil and gas products under the brand name “UNG”, Trend reports referring to the press service of Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company.
The goal of organizing a network of gas stations is to create a full-fledged national brand. Gas stations will remain the only contact link between consumers and Uzbekneftegaz.
“Much needs to be done, but the main priorities are identified and the tasks are set for themselves. First of all, it is necessary to improve activities to provide the economy and Uzbekistan’s population with oil products, to increase the range and volume of their sales at gas stations,”said Mirzokhid Musaev, Director of UNG Petro LLC.
At present, RON-80 and RON-91 brands of gasoline and diesel fuel produced in oil refineries of Uzbekneftegaz JSC are sold through a network of gas stations.
In addition, UNG Petro LLC has established a mechanism for the sale of RON-92 imported gasoline to the public. It is also planned to import RON-95 gasoline, as well as diesel fuel meeting European standards.
In early January 2020, these petroleum products will already be available for sale at gas stations. Work aimed at increasing the range of petroleum products sold through a network of gas stations will continue.
