BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 14. The Julfa wind power plant (WPP) in Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan produced 477,000 kWh last year, a source in the State Energy Service of Nakhchivan told Trend.

In alignment with strategic initiatives to enhance renewable energy infrastructure in the area, the Julfa Wind Power Plant (WPP) was established with a nominal capacity of 0.3 megawatts on non-arable land, adjacent to the recently commissioned Julfa substation, which operates at a voltage rating of 132/110/35/10 kV.

The WPP was initiated on October 31, 2022. The anticipated output is projected to yield an annual generation of 666,620 kilowatt-hours of electrical energy.
